On Wednesday the 26th of June 2024 I took part in my second #TweetTasting with White Peak Distillery and their range of Wire Works Single Malts, The previous tasting was on the 19th of July 2023.

The lineup for the tasting was as follows:

Here are my thoughts from the evening:

The evening was another incredible lineup of whisky and a very surprising and enjoyable rum.

But which one was the standout?

They were all superb! The Bourbon Barrel was the highlight and the Rum I did not expect maybe a weary palate, but that didn’t taste like a rum, blooming fantastic! It was more like a Single Grain Scotch Whisky, but that is all down to the excellent choice for the Rum cask ageing.

But would I buy them? In short YES. Especially that Bourbon Barrel
