From Master of Malt
Single cask single malt from the Annandale Distillery, released as part of its Man O'Words series, meaning it's unpeated (Man O'Sword whiskies are the peaty ones). This vintage 2017 Lowland single malt was aged in a single STR ex-red wine cask before being bottled up at 60.1% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Buttered shortbread, prunes, apples, and oaky vanilla.
Palate: Dark berries, creamy malt, oak char, and apple tart with cinnamon.
Finish: Soft winter spices and buttery pastries.
