A premium single barrel whisky, it is distilled from Scottish organic malted barley grown in Inverness-shire and matured in a first-use oak Bourbon barrel. A classic single malt Scotch, it is best served with a little spring water to bring out the depth of its flavours.
As a mark of authenticity, the whisky is printed on the label with the numbers of the cask and bottle, making each bottle unique. It makes a thoughtful gift for any whisky drinker as well as an indulgent treat for yourself.

Adelphi Distillery Ltd
Adelphi is famously known today as a legendary independent bottler and the parent company behind the Ardnamurchan Distillery. However, Ardnamurchan didn't even start distilling until 2014, meaning they couldn't possibly be the source of a mature single malt being sold back in 2015 when this range of Highgrove Gardens began.
Instead, Adelphi’s core business for decades has been selecting, managing, and contract-bottling single casks sourced from major distilleries.
When you look at which distillery historically supplied the specific, unpeated organic spirit for Adelphi's high-profile contracts during that era, the circle closes right back around to Benromach or Deanston—with Deanston holding the strongest geographic claim to the "Inverness-shire malted barley" supply chain that Highgrove's labels have consistently specified.
The mystery could be solved on the logistics side: it's an Adelphi curated contract bottling, utilising a traditional, completely unpeated Highland/Speyside organic run. My money is on a Deanston.
