At Loch Lomond Whiskies, exploration is at the heart of everything we do. With the Waypoint Series, we invite you to embark on a voyage of discovery through a collection of whiskies inspired by the stunning landscapes surrounding our distillery.

This series reflects our enduring quest to push the boundaries of whisky making, capturing the spirit of adventure in every release. Master Blender Michael Henry has crafted each whisky to tell a unique story—blending creativity, tradition, and the finest cask finishes. Every drop evokes a sense of place and discovery.

The Waypoint Series will reveal new dimensions of flavour, offering whisky lovers the opportunity to explore the remarkable possibilities of Scotch whisky. 

FALLS OF FALLOCH

EDITION ONE

The first edition of the series pays tribute to the Falls of Falloch. An unpeated 16-year-old single malt, distilled in our Swan Neck stills, and matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a 12 months finish in ex-Cognac barrels.

In celebrating where we come from and our thoughtful flavour exploration, The Waypoint Series captures our sense of place which provides constant inspiration for our whisky-making team. Each release pays homage to a natural landmark that shapes the character of our spirits.

The first edition pays tribute to the Falls of Falloch. This unpeated 16-year-old single malt, distilled in our Swan Neck stills, is matured in ex-Bourbon casks and finished for 12 months in ex-Cognac barrels.

The copper foiled packaging features hand-drawn artwork by Brett Beckon, a renowned Welsh Illustrator who uses art to bring to life fantasy, realism and historical subjects.

The pack showcases an amazing imaginative interpretation of the Falls of Falloch, highlighting the joy of exploration and the serene beauty of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. As you examine the artwork, you’ll find the whisky tasting notes sewn into the scenery, as well as references to our unique distillery making process.

With each sip, it captures the spirit of exploration and the depth of nature in every drop.

Guided by our boundless imagination, we reveal a whisky capturing both flavour and place. Master Distiller Michael Henry has created a whisky with a character inspired by this place. Bringing together spirit distilled exclusively in our Swan Neck Stills and a Cognac cask finish, to create a whisky that is worthy of exploration and a fitting tribute to the natural beauty of the Falls of Falloch. 

Matured in three kinds of ex-Bourbon American Oak casks before finishing its flavour journey for 12 months in ex-Cognac barrels, this whisky captures exploration and depth in every drop.
