SPEY 12 Year Old Red Scarlet is the perfect introduction to the Speyside Distillery. A vibrant single malt inspired by the red hues of the autumn leaves blanketing the Cairngorms, its extended fermentation and maturation in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and select sherry casks helps generate its fruity, rich depth.
Nose Enticing aromas of honey and grape, with delicate hints of citrus. Layers of freesia blossoms and Earl Grey tea then unfold gracefully.
Palate A rich balance of blackcurrant, candied plum, cool mint, and toasted oak, creating a smooth, layered profile.
Finish Long and elegant, with lingering hawthorn, fresh grass, and a subtle coffee bean warmth.
