SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Single Malt Whisky

Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Single Malt Whisky

A rather curious release from Tamdhu, showcasing the distinctive notes of first-fill American oak sherry casks (as opposed to European oak casks). Made with wood from the forests of North America which makes its way to Spain to fulfil its destiny of becoming sherry seasoned casks, and then off they go to Scotland to fulfil their next destiny of becoming whisky casks. Fascinating stuff, displaying the distinction between American and European oak deliciously.
