Much-anticipated, Tormore 16 Year Old is part of the distillery's exciting core range - its first since Elixir Distillers became custodians of this under-known gem in 2022. Previously a distillery that saw most of its output go to blends, this marks an exciting change in Tormore's fortunes. Carefully aged in cream sherry and oloroso sherry casks to complement Tormore’s natural fruity complexity, this dram offers a sweetness and richness that makes it the perfect after-dinner pour.
On the nose expect aromas of Christmas cake, soft baking spices, and a subtle oakiness, along with flavours of dates, demerara fudge, blueberry, vanilla, and a hint of citrus.
